Celebrative and Communion Worship
We believe that
when Christians gather, who have been "worshiping all week", the overflow of such a life will be both celebration
and communion worship. There will be a spirit of joy, humility, and power experienced in congregational worship through the
ministry of music and the Word.
A Church On Mission
Our God
is a "God on mission" and invites His children and church to join Him on His mission. It was our "missionary
God" who sent Jesus to earth to die for our sins and be resurrected, so that people from every tribe, tongue, and nation
would be reconciled to their Creator and live to the praise of His glory. Christ commands us (individually and corporately)
to be incarnational and intentional, local and global - in seeking the lost, sharing our faith, and participating in world
evangelism.
Commitment to Scripture
All of God's Word is
truth, applicable for all time and all cultures. The absolutes of Scripture have not changed, for God has not changed. God's
people must be taught and trained to joyfully make choices on the principles of His Word - and not live lives dictated by
their emotions, circumstances, cultural values and ideologies.
Love and Unity
Jesus said, "Love one another" and, "Judge not, lest you be judged". Paul wrote that Christians should
endeavor "to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace". There is no place for discord, gossip, or disloyalty
among God's people. We place high priority on the unity within the church family.
Joyful
Creativity
God's made us in His image; creativity is a part of that! The creativity and giftedness
of His people should be released in expression of worship and service.
Beauty, Order,
Excellence
The beauty, order, and excellence of the Lord should be reflected in one's personal life...
the family and its environment... and in every area of corporate church life - from the buildings and grounds to the programs
and public services.
Character Development and Family
Effectiveness
A healthy community is primarily made of healthy families. Healthy families are made of
individuals who love Jesus, who love one another, and who stand for Biblical truth in a fallen world. It is imperative that
families are made strong through Christ-like leadership, training, and love...and are taught character and virtue.
